It's sad. Before he became Speaker, he was poised to be the new force of the Republican Party, championing fiscal responsibility. Turns out he was just another cog in the conservative clusterf*ck.
Honestly, I hope Republicans can get their shit together. Or even better, that they and the Democrats each recognize that they're cracking apart and split (R into right-center Republican and far-right Nationalist parties, D into left-center Democrat and far-left Socialist parties). Time for the two-party system to end.
