Not at all. I say Merry Christmas, Happy Hollidays, Joyeaux Noël, Happy Honika( to my jewish friends), basically whatever the mood brings. It's a festive drinky time of year, don't be so uptight. As far as the God Bless part, I live in Canada so I don't hear it often, even if I did, good for them, they have pride in their country, don't bother me none. I'm not as uptight tho.

Where do you live? I have never had anyone try to "correct" me after saying any greeting. Never. Not once.

I have never heard of anything of the sort. Speaking of hockey, the world junios kick off next week in my territory, try and get tix tho, I spent enough on my Kiss and Iron Maidon tix, doubt I can get any, I'll be gone for most of it anyways. Canada does rock. I even sing the Star Spangled Banner when I'm at games, lots of people do.

Went to see the WWF at the Garden round '85, Nikolai Volkoff on the card, did the Russian Amthem, and the bunch of us (like 7) were the only ones who stood up in whole place from what I could see. Didn't know the words, of course, but we faked it as best as we could.
One of us had made a "Russia #1" sign too, waved it around when we got there and throughout, laughing like crazy. Later some dimwit snuck up from behind while we were sitting and watching and santched it and ran, tearing it up. We pointed and laughed at the moron, him sitting all glum with his pals.

Later we started yelling "Where are the midgets!?! We want want midgets!" And eventually got the crowd chanting, "Midgets! Midgets!"

Sadly there was no midgets.

....too funny. My arena was one of the few US ones, that sang the Canadian anthem, & I too learned it....good luck w/ the concerts
