I don't like apple products, the apple OS and I really didn't care for Steve Jobs... also as already stated, Microsoft is the reason Apple even exists today (Not entirely sure who benefits from that besides apple though, lol..)

It is a very easy question for me to answer.
#1 Apple wouldn't exist today without Microsoft
#2 Bill Gates has helped and is still helping solve the world's problems. The only problem Steve Jobs was worried about solving were of personal variety. Thus Bill Gates is a better human being than Steve Jobs could ever hope to be.

I can use your point against you. the question wan't "which is run by a better person". it was which would you rather work for. I would rather work for apple because they made superior technology, and still do, which means pay would likely be better, and steve jobs was more innovative the bill gates could even wish to be.
though I admit that steve jobs wasn't as good a person as bill gates. he was a better tech company owner, though.

Hard to get better pay without Bill Gates saving Apple in the first place.

I have a great deal of respect for them both. I grew up on Apple's. So I knew JOBS as the genius behind everything, and Gates was the evil enemy. When I got into the business world I needed to use apps that were only PC based, and back then windows and apple products weren't anything compared to what they are today.. I would have just liked to be a fly on the wall when all this was happening. It was an incredible time in the history of technology.

One thing I kind of disagree with is that if it hadn't been for Microsoft, Apple would no longer exist. I think that Gates came in and saved it when he did for a lot of his own reasons. However, if he hadn't I think that Jobs would have found someone else to do it.

A little known fact by many.. When Apple's board got rid of JOBS he sold all of his stock but 1 share. (Or something like that). When he came back they gave him stock options etc, but he wasn't a big owner in it. Where he made the most of his money was through PIXAR, and when it was acquired by DISNEY. Most of his assets were from Disney stock when he died.

Of course Microsoft wanted Apple to survive for the simple reason that they would be considered a monopoly by the government if they went away. Hard to improve yourself w/o competition pushing you.
