You do know we have millions upon millions of American citizens who don't celebrate Christmas, right? That Jesus was born in June or July? We celebrate his birth on December 25th solely because early Christians wanted to harm religious celebration of the "actual" new year and rebirth of our planet during winter solstice.
Christmas takes up a full month of activity nationally. Don't be so worried about losing it.
