Well obviously theres going to be alot of variation in any society as I've not really seen anyone make those arguments etc (experience and location I guess), and hopefully its not a common issue for you.
Unfortunately what I have personally seen for a decade now are people of said nature (and their supporters in even bigger numbers) desperately attacking everything that doesn't immediately cater to them outright, much to the point that various hobbies and social groups become divided and toxic (such as the previous atheist community) and major industries start wrecking their product (comics and gaming currently) in order to cater to them, all at the detriment of the people who were there first, such as myself.
The only real middle-ground here is probably be for everyone to keep their lifestyles relegated to their own homes and not expect everyone to think its positive.
Afterall, I'm an anti-theistic,mostly llibertarian, mgtow, nihilist, mixed race, largely conservative, independent voting nationalist, yet no one is going to know that unless they ask or its in the appropriate situation, nor would I expect society as a whole to agree or applaud my positions, nor would I expect my groups to be represented in larger society just because we happen to exist. etc
