Fact the Republican Senate let a Supreme Court nomination go with out a vote for twice the amount of time as any other nomination in the history of the U.S.. They did this not because the Judge was unqualified or even because he was ultra liberal( He was as moderate as one can get) but because a Democrat nominated him and no one could stop them.
