Oh, no, we're not whining that he didn't recite it. We're pointing out that he doesn't know it, probably can't read the words, AND yet Evangelicals are all in on him.

I have been saved over 20 years and no church I ever went to recited the Creed.

My wife is Catholic and when we go to her chruch I never recite the Creed. I'm Christian but I'm not going to recite something that says "I believe in (insert denomination/church)" because I don't believe in some of the Catholic doctrine.

The apostle's creed isn't read by most protestants, so there was no contradiction in his behavior over this. On the flip side, if liberals new what Hillary, Bill, Barack, and Michelle were affirming, their heads would pop. This may have been one of the rare instances where Trump actually made sense to me.
