I agree that he will probably not go to jail.And, I get no joy in watching my country being over-leveraged by a tax cut that was unnecessary and it could not affort, so that the recovery from the next recession will make the last ten years look like a walk in the park. I am not turned on by watching fringe groups of the politically active, right and left, being manipulated by a foreign power to make rational leaders powerless to do the things we need to move forward. China's dependence on us to sustain their great leap forward, caused them to rebuff Putin's urging to call in their loans, which would bankrupt us and destabilize the dollar. They are being pushed in that direction by both Putin and Trump's actions. I watch clever people position and make absurd observations about the steady downturn of the president, and have to wonder if they are just showing off or are part of a larger effort to make sure he crashes. As bad as he behaves and as questionable as his acts are, a politically disabled president is bettter than impeachment or resignation. He is three weeks away from being a partial Lame Duck. I don't see how you can call this pending implosion, the best.
