I take it you mean Ben Shapiro? My point is the Democrats need to face the fact that the vast majority of independents, moderate-rights and moderate-lefts are sick and tired of Baby-Boomers who just can't face the fact that their time has come and gone. None of those are going to support Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, Joe Biden, or the others who don't want to let the next generation take the lead they have put in the time and effort to deserve.

Nah--commentators and authors don't have to deal with the overall realities. It's easy to take a position when you don't have to worry about getting different groups with different agendas to support you.

That was one of the huge problems with Obama. He just didn't get it that young folks and the marginalized just AREN'T a POLITICAL BASE. Yeah, they may VOTE YOU IN, but then they're GONE. "I just found out my GF is pregnant!" "Gotta prepare for finals! ... prom! ... college! ... my new job! ... find a job! ..." And the legislators, etc., you're supposed to LEAD KNOW you don't have a base.

I'm hoping Kasich runs again--and this time people are wise enough to elect him.
