The Red pill does not mean republican. The Red pill is a term Qanons use to describe the act of learning the knowledge that the government (republicans and democrats) have been lying to Americans in order to control them for their globalist masters.
If you were as "woke" as you think you are you'd understand that the infiltration of one party or the other would be required to retake our country from the foreign powers that control it. It just happened that the Republican Party was easier to retake than the DNC.
