Is there a way to get rid of the annoying text on the side in black and white non-capital Arial setting on the opening start??

A lot of the popular templates now have default fonts and font colors set up. For instance, Doge now has Comic Sans MS and different colors for each of the caption boxes as the default setting.

If you don't want to adjust those with the gear icon in the meme generator every time, I can think of a couple ways around it for the time being.

One is search for user templates, type in "oag" several user templates will come up. Virtually all of those will have the old "classic" default settings.

The other way is to customize your own "go to" images as templates for replies.

It's possible to have caption settings on popular templates be per user, you set the caption box locations and font you want, those settings become enabled for you when you log in. That hasn't been built or even discussed that I know of. A potential feedback item you could send in, no guarantee that would happen though.

These are already my images I have saved in my templates and on my computer. Its weird that its on the side too, I don't like it lol

Here's a recent site upgrade you will like. Now when you upload png files as a shared template, any canvas area with transparency is preserved. In the old days, pngs uploaded as templates would get converted to jpg and lose the alpha channel.
I haven't played with that new feature much, but I know you like using those files in your creations. I asked for the old "trails" effect to come back as a check box option, still just an idea for now.
