Yes but if we can't trust officials or the vote, elections will no longer be relevant.

And all I am saying is straight ticket voters are delusional.
Both parties have proven multiple times they can't be trusted when they don't have to compromise.
This fantasy of utopia when your party controls all 3 is just that a total fantasy.
When a party doesn't have to compromise they do serious harm to the economy and the normal working person.
Once you realize this, and history backs it up, you can make more informed decisions than relying on what party a candidate belongs to.
