The U.S. dead commit genocide of Native Americans if you are denying that your the revisionist, but at the same time I don't think is accurate to say that is what thanksgiving is celebrating

I would agree to part of that, my grandmother grew up on a res so I am aware of the history. That said, genocide of native American's was regional at best, the larger problem was forced migration and one sided legal battles to justify it all. The hard truth is world history reflects the same things all over the world. I am not saying it didn't happen but the early American's were no worse than any other group and far better than most.

That doesn't make them good and in my experience if your main defense is we're better than those guys something has screwed up some where.

I wasn't defending it just pointing out people tend to focus on things that trigger them and ignore the bigger picture. There are genocides going on right now in Africa but I have yet to hear of an American that cares. We are to busy fighting over emails and stautes,

I can see your point but, you can never be sure on this site and your right we should address those issues but we are also to busy trying to beat the UN to death to help it effect meaningful change now a days.
