That's where the bushwackers and jayhawkers operated I think. They probably got along better than the righties and lefties of today lol

Except for killing each other's families and burning each other's towns and farms? And taking no prisoners? No I don't think so.

Among others, all of whom are irresponsible, immature loudmouths. If killing is the solution to ANYTHING the answer should be disqualified.

Sorry for the rant but this is the Political stream...

Not the first hideous meme-pic in my catalogue, and not the last either. I'm trying to break down the asinine idea that another American civil war would be a good thing. It might be a romantic fantasy for juveniles the chronically immature of all ages but it is a terrible reality of suffering and heartache. Alas.
Thanks for your comment. Sorry for the rant.

I am reminded of California, who wants to break away from the union. I'm not so sure if it would wind up becoming a wear, though. Time will tell, obviously

The "Jefferson State" movement is a lot like the American revolution; a rural reaction to being disenfranchised by the urban population. But I don't see that as a likely source of initial bloodshed, as long as the "Progressives" don't push too hard. (I live in Northern CA, and know many of the Jefferson State folks.) But the legislation seeking to remove the rural counties of OR and CA from the dominating cities cannot succeed because it would wreck the federal balance of power, unless another urbanized state was created.
No, most of the "new civil war" talk I hear is "anti-fa" and "Resistance" talk, aimed at destroying their imaginary enemies.

The CA secession is a Progressive fantasy born out of hyperbole and paranoia. Imagine the Federal Government wanting to enforce immigration and drug laws? I don't know how widely held the idea is, but it reminds me of a rumor in the early 1960's that Mississippi was going to secede over school desegregation. One civil war was one too many.
Amen?

Civil "WAR", obviously.

I know you're smart enough to know a typo, but still . . .
