Obviously how you behave on the internet is a personal choice... But good manners reflect well upon you...

Unless someone is being rude... Or you dislike a meme of comment... It's good form to upvote when people comment and upvote upon your memes and comments.

Points aren't as big a deal for some as they are for others... But it's always good to be friendly with your fellow memers. And you'll be surprised as you find more people wish to 'speak' with you on the web.

Now obviously - be wary, careful even- particularly if you're talking about meeting folks IRL (at your age - be sure to talk to your parents first - because not all folks are good people, and sometimes jerks pretend to be - other than what they actually are - out on the web). But as long as you're just enjoying the art and craft of memeing - feel free to explore the community.

It's good habit - I saw Raydog mention it too. If you reply but DON'T upvote - people are left wondering... It sends a mixed-, or at least unclear, message.
