We used to have institutions where people, who were mentally ill, and a danger to society would be kept for the protection of society. Now all of them are out in society, and it isn't until they have perpetrated a heinous crime that they are put away in prisons for the criminally insane.

Atleast one side is trying to come up with solutions.
The real problem is dipshits who think that the answer to gun control failures is more gun control. End "gun-free" VICTIM DISARMAMENT ZONES and shootings will go WAY down. And the fact that some people choose to abuse a GOD-GIVEN RIGHT THAT PREDATES THIS NATION does NOT legitimize other people to infringe said right against those who DO NOT ABUSE THAT RIGHT.
