Why would you want to get rid of programs that are beneficial to people BEFORE getting rid of the one that is locking children in cages?

-In what world is education, public transportation and housing NOT beneficial to people?

-Yes, I believe Trump called Mexicans rapists because I listened to the words that came out of his mouth. No, whatever plausible deniability you may find in his alleged mockery of that reporter doesn't make it a lie either.

-I could go on and on about the ways in which Trumpists have abandoned all rationality and critical thought in favor of blaming immigrants for all of their problems, but I'll just leave it at the fact that airwaves have been pretty silent on the caravan since midterms ended.

-I don't, nor will I ever engage in civil discussion with white nationalists and neo-nazis. Period. I'm not saying every Trump supporter is a nazi, but if you're not going to take the sudden rise in nazism seriously while supporting a president who has been endorsed by the KKK, inspired a bunch of white nationalists to run for congress, and famously referred to the Charlottesville nazis as "very fine people" then you are at least suspect.

Give credit where credit is due. trump's policy and his policy alone are responsible for the kidnapping, torture, abuse, and horrific treatment of immigrant children. If children were sexually assaulted in custody, trump is directly responsible.

Straw man. And, yes, Obama is responsible for what Obama did.

It simply isn't true, Obama never had a zero tolerance policy and Obama deported many, many illegal immigrants. It wasn't ignored, Obama didn't have a policy of separating children from parents, not even to prosecute the parents. Yes, it is a trumpian policy of hate which separated and separates parents from children and has led to deporting parents without their children. trump had a decent plan. Use an Obama era law, separating children from parents in order to prosecute the parents, which allows the trump administration to blame Democrats, and be strong on illegal immigration by treating illegal immigrants so badly that they tell each other to stop coming here.
