So, there are scumbags on the internet who accuse others of being "paedophiles" or they commit "bestiality", "necrophilia" and the like, which people believe.
This is very significant within the furry fandom with prominent figures like Corey and Kero being harassed by arseholes calling them things they're not, with very little, if at all, evidence, proof or footing. People believe this false accusations, even though they shouldn't. This has led to a lot of rose tinted glasses being smashed, and members like Kothorix leaving it because they realise the toxicity it has.
It's not just within the furry fandom back in 2016, DJ Killer Keemstar accused Pyrocynical of being a paedophile. He said that Pyrocynical had a sexual relationship with a 14 year old girl from France. Keemstar also doxed Pyrocynical, revealing his face. The fact Keemstar hasn't been locked up is horrendous.

What's the moral? Don't believe what you see on the internet at first glance. And for goodness sake, don't EVER call someone something they're not if you know its slander. Slander is a crime. And the problem is, through the internet, you can do it without being charged because of anonymity. Don't EVER attack someone's mental health. Don't EVER accuse someone with proper damning evidence. Don't EVER do this. It wastes the Police's time, the media will make headlines, and you might even bring someone to consider suicide, something no one should ever do. If you want to commit slander and make sexual accusations which hold no ground, you are a scumbag. You don't deserve attention, you deserve to be fined or jailed for bringing a fellow human being so low for your own amusement.
So, don't do it. Everyone is human. This form of bullying and slander is NOT okay. It's illegal, it's unfair, it's immoral, it's indecent, it's disgusting. So please, consider how you would feel in the same situation.
I might as well put down a biblical quote, it applies to modern society as a whole. Matthew 7:12 "In everything, then, do to others as you would have them do to you. For this is the essence of the Law and the prophets."

In addition to those possible consequences, in general it also sours the atmosphere of the site. Like minded individuals jump on it, and it becomes routine.

Plus the more they go on about it, the more it rings of a guilty conscience. Projection may seem like an overused term, but worse, one that unfortunately may turn out to be true.
