RIP anti-vaxxers with curable infections

I've never had a flu shot, I've only had the Flu one time.

It think this meme is mixing up two broad types of vaccines.
1) Anti-vaxxers focus on lobbying against kids being immunized against killer diseases, that due to vaccinations have been largely eliminated in the western world. They greatly improve life expectacy.
2) Flu vaccinations are just provide marginal improvement in the chance of getting the flu-de-jour, thus are mainly of use for high-risk groups. They largely improve the bottom line of pharma companies.

Right on both points. Flu vax doesn't help much if there is a new strain going around. But I get a flu shot every fall anyway.

Do you pay for the flu shot, or is it covered by a medical plan?

Would be interesting to see how many people would directly pay for a shot.
