Yes, definitely unprepared for the Russian winters in 41 & 42.
All their campaigns previously had only lasted a matter of weeks/months, they thought it would be the same in Russia.
But the Russians had defence in depth, terrain, resources & man power AND ALSO THE DREADED RUSSIAN WINTERS.
Nepolian failed due to the same factors in Russia too.
