Do you realize a too low unemployment rate creates its own set of problems?

This is why I think you enjoy your echo chamber. Reply to someone else instead of replying to me.

Some people recognize super low unemployment rate can create an overheated heated economy that leads to excessive inflation.

How do you cool an overheated economy? You raise interest rates of course. But 45 wants to lower them. I know you are incapable is seeing that though

2.8 inflation is not low. Probably higher than your recent wage increase. Hit the bottle some more

I doubt your pension is up 20% YTD.
Now maybe your personal 401 k balance. But that isn't all gain since you add to it monthly

If your pension is up over 20% in the last 12 months when the S&P500 is up only 6% I would blow the whistle on that. That means they are taking excessive risks with retiree's and future retiree's benefits. Pensions are just too conservatively invested to have that kind of outperformance. So I still say you don't understand.

This is a local pension then with a very limited number of members instead of a "national pension"? Pension is a misnomer then because pensions should not be invested in such risky assets when that money needs to be there for retirees and future retirees

Have you figured out the difference in a pension and a 401k yet?

What was. Your pension or your 401k? Do you know the difference?

To be fair, the market was recovering from a nasty recession during Obama's first term, so there was more room to grow then than there is now. Not saying the idiot in chief is doing anything right (he's not, and those gains won't last), just adding a layer to the debate.

That is true we were coming out of the Bush 2 train wreck.
But when you back 100 yrs the pattern is clear. Democratic presidents preside over the best stock markets. By a very wide margin also.
Then they say well you shouldn't include the great depression.
ok lets just look at 1960 til now. Same number of republican and democratic presidents in that time frame and it still just isn't even close. Stock markets under democratic presidents vastly outperform the stock markets under republican presidents.
