So very true! I think imgflip fixed something that was never broken in favor of giving a safe space to snowflakes. If they truly wanted to do something about political memes, they could have simply added a filter just like NSFW. By doing things that way, political memes could not only be filtered, but the really good ones would end up on the 'Hot' stream where they belong.
