This is a great picture, and I thought I'd seen them ALL. What a treat to see a new Trek picture from behind the scenes.

I read they had a budget for each show that was equivalent to what a modern show would spend on lunch. That's why they are eating from paper plates, and the tricorder scanner looked like a salt shaker. It was. :-)

Well I am so glad you did, it's been too long! I'm rolling with the changes, actually just had a front page meme that didn't get trolled, so that was whoosh. :-)

I think I've heard of Sense8. Korean? Yeah, that's Bae Doona, she played a major role in Cloud Atlas.
So I nearly went to sleep, got a second wind, we'll see how long that lasts!

lol Yeah her character is in Korea, but the deal is there's 8 of them from around the world, US, India, Germany, Africa, Mexico etc and they're somehow mentally linked together and they can cross into each other's time and space and affect each other's lives and actions. There's a trans roll played by real life trans actress Jamie Clayton, and there's a lot about LGBT life and struggles as well as just basic human struggles and how people around the world are so different, yet so much the same. I'm only a few episodes in, but it's really a great show so far IMO.

Waiting for thetrolls to flog you. Oh, wait they're all over at the political page. XD

lol Yeah the gay and transphobia on this site is pretty sad. Hope you enjoy the show. The love story and chemistry between Jamie Clayton's character and her girlfriend is really great IMO. Bae kicks some ass in the show too lol. But the whole show is well done, though it can be a bit hard to follow at times

Yeah I think the gay phobia was largely scripted ITA bs. The political stream has largely cut down the trolling, at least on the Fun section.
