Yeah, I remember all the SS characters thought Big Bird was imagining it. Then tuned in again 30 years later and it was like WTF? What did I miss? LOL.

Thank god, I thought I was thr only one who renembered. It was a cause of great stress and anxiety fir a 10 year old. I even remember when Mr. Hooper died.

Totally agree. Probably around 7 for me at the time. Not sure though. Felt sorry for Big Bird and wanted that stress for him over asap. I guess it was a great way of helping to instill compassion in kids.
