Yeah, when I looked up the meaning, they mentioned both snips and snaps. I don’t know what the final ruling was, but they both sound kinda strange, lol.
I remember it mostly from way back in the old days when my Mom would sing it to me <3
I’m not sure which version she used, but I might lean towards snaps. Again, either one is strange, lol :-)
