Complaining about reposts is an attempt to get others to follow your subjective standard, and there's no reason they should.

That's true! I hadn't either. But it looks like there's a user going around trying to hassle another user, and calling "repost" is the pretext they're using (although honestly, I think they just want to hassle the user over something), so it prompted this meme. :-)

I saw one ( who knows, it could be the same one) calling someone out for submitting a meme which they used in a comment.
