It's really easy and super fast. I don't think it would work good for beef ribs, but for pork ribs I just salt them, get my oil hot, then coat them with corn starch and fry maybe ten mins depending on thickness etc until turn a light brown. Then coat with BBQ sauce and put in the oven a few minutes to let the sauce caramelize a bit. I also really like to take them out if the fryer and just brush them with honey and eat them right away. Sooooo good
