EVERYONE is entitled to free speech. Other people can choose to embrace or ignore it as they see fit. :-)

Good point! Still, I have to wonder, if a conservative social forum ever comes out, how the hardcover Leftists would feel for one of their own got banned?

This has nothing to do with politics. Facebook and Twitter have a laundry list of perfectly non-partisan reasons for giving him the boot; Including but not limited to:

-Being a proprietor of actual fake news.
-Almost incited a mass shooting at a pizza restaurant.
-Literally called on his supporters to get out their battle rifles and attack mainstream news outlets.
-Defaming the parents of children who died at Sandy Hook, leading to them being harassed by his fans.

Believe it or not there are actual laws against defamation and inciting violence, which is exactly what the Sandy Hook parents have been taking him to court over. This is not a free speech issue, it's our laws and people with basic human decency acting as they should.

Privately owned businesses have the final say of who participates on their platform, but from a public-image point of view, it's better when they're as transparent as possible about their reasons for banning users, and when it's as clear as possible that the rules are the same for everyone (they probably should have banned Alex Jones earlier than they did, but consistency is the main thing I want to see).
