Yes, I agree. Many interesting memes get even less. They don't have to be funny to be interesting, although it's a nice bonus.
You probably know better than I do what can affect the UV's on a meme. Date and time of week, holidays, website delays, random sh!t, getting downvoted into 'Submitted' status, newbies without enough followers to support them - all sorts of things.
But tomorrow is always another opportunity to catch the wind in our sails. I don't think it would be as interesting if every meme we did hit the first page. We need the contrast to make it seem challenging. Besides, you and I have enough views and points where it doesn't even matter if we get seen again. Ever. Most people will never get to your level - including me. I don't have the free time I used to have when I started.
But I enjoy making memes and commenting when I can. And the people who make it fun, like you.
