You're right, it does include the bad stuff. He doesn't wish the bad stuff to happen to us, but he wills it or allows it to happen for His glory, and our greater good.

Child molestation in of itself does not bring him glory any more than it brings us good. You're thinking too literal. God doesn't glory in those kinds of things, but He uses it to bring glory to Himself by working through the person, allowing them to go through that experience so maybe they can help someone else who's gone through it thereby bringing them benefit of transforming through that and the benefit of being able to help someone else cope.

Actually, that's not true. God tells us in His word that He cares for us and only wants the best for us like a living breathing earthly father. We can know because He's given us the Bible. It's partly a leap of faith. We may not be able to see the outcome of the situation right here and right now, but assured God is looking out for us. Agreed if anyone was a child molester, they'd be accused a monster. But God isn't doing the actual molesting and it isn't cognitive dissonance. It's not that conflicting. As a believer, not everything is going to make sense. It doesn't have to. We just need to trust that God has the answer and He will do what He says He will. We do what He tells us because 1) He created, knew and loved us before we could even conceive of the idea of creation, understanding and love and 2) He sent His ONLY Son, Jesus Christ, to die on cruel, rugged, tortuous Roman cross to pay for the penalty and immeasurable debt of sin for us since we could never do so ourselves. Thus since God created us and Jesus saved us we are forever indebted to Him with our lives to live for Him until Jesus returns and it's coming really soon. Again, it's a level of trust, a leap of faith. If God told me to sacrifice my child, yes I would do it because God knows better than me. God will iron out the details. I don't need to know what they are. I just have to trust Him. I would rather be obedient to Him, and lose my only son than be disobedient and for the rest of my life be a living example to my heir that it's okay to disobey God if you have a reasonable excuse.

I can't answer that because I'm NOT God, I'm human so in my limited human thinking I can't give you a definitive answer. Now if I was I could tell you that, but again, I'm not.

As a human, obviously no, I wouldn't HOWEVER I can't make the final decision because I don't have the final say. God does.

Yeah, see, I KNEW that's where you were going with that. Of course it isn't going to add up because we'll never be able to understand the logic of God. In our limited human thinking, we can't conceive the mental process of God. Isaiah 55:8-9 “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord. “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts." God is always good no matter what happens. He may allow bad things to happen, but you have to keep in mind, He doesn't necessarily wish bad things on us NOR does want us to go through tough times. He ALWAYS knows what's best for us and BECAUSE He knows what's best for us, He wills these things to happen, thus He is good in letting tough times strengthen our faith in Jesus Christ.

The God you are refering to is hardly always good, far from it. He's a terrible spiteful wrathful being that commands his chosen (Jews) to worship and fear him.

The good God mentioned in the Garden of Evil, the Serpent, gifted us the power of knowledge and free will. The God you claim you worship cursed us for it with the mark of original sin. He has no control of our lives, lost it back then, we have free agency.

As for the abuse and rape mentioned above, this God you adore commanded that a woman (or girl) who is victimized by this must marry her rapist, or she can be stoned to death, now being 'soiled' and unmarriagable.

Children who are abused and molested have a strong tendency to do the same to other children, especially when they grow up. Not all will, mind you, but practically all such abusers were also victims themselves. To claim this is part of a larger plan or some learning lesson is absurd and reprehensible, and defies any logic whatsoever.

Funny these Gods would create humans with this capacity, because the only other animals to engage in similar behavior are orangutans and dolphins. Also young male sea otters will even rape seal pups to death. This is part of a plan?

Skip the excuses, it would have been far simpler to create people without the ability and will to engage in this, the vilest of all violations.

To give this God credit for all that's good but not for all that's bad is missing your point. A perfect being is not just good, it is perfect in all aspects, and that would include what we consider to be evil as well.
