I think he had aspects that seriously merited examination as a bad - but I agree with you on this one :-/

There are many strong ways to go after a traitor. Once dead, you cant affect him. You can hurt those who loved him. Think him a traitor, fine. Then attack his policies. Thanking cancer is just a bit sick and reflects on you, not him.
