I can name ALL of them: Gene. :-p

Maybe 6 others if you include the last names. But I don't know if "Eugene" counts. Are we using international rules? Does a Eugene have to be referred to as Gene by friends, family, or an adoring public to be a Gene? :-)

WHAT'S IN A NAME? MY JEANS ARE RIDING UP!!! | made w/ Imgflip meme maker
Certainly "Eugene" counts...there are a couple of "Jeans" and even a "Jeanne"...wanted to include Gene, Gene The Dancing Machine or even "Jean" Luc Picard, but thought wiser of it. :)

I think you could have gotten away with Picard, to be honest. Language is one of the most elastic things around. Sometimes it fascinates me and sometimes it annoys the sh!t out of me. But in the end, EVERYTHING is valid. Language evolves over time and we're forced to accept it.

Fun fact: The original pronunciation of 'ask' was 'aks'. We shudder when hearing it now, but aks was the 'right' one when it was the only one. :-)

Bonus Jean-Luc Pool, with Picard replacing Mean Gene Okerland as the cue ball :)

*ding ding ding* We have a winner!

Picard is the perfect cue ball. Wouldn't it be great if you could get customized billiard balls, like coffee mugs? The rest of the set could be the TNG cast, with Wesley up front. And the table would have the modern TNG look.

Then we'd need a TOS set, with Kirk vs. the Gorn, Trillane, Klingons... all the baddies. The table would have to reflect the era also.

I think they would sell. :-)

We used to play three ball for drinks all the time... rack three balls and keep track of how many shots it takes to sink them, then it's one drink for each shot over the low score...awesome idea about the Star Trek billiard balls, when I have way too much time on my hands I might Photoshop them, but would it be Baalok, Brock or a Talosian for the cue ball?

3 Ball sounds like fun. We played quarters, where you have to bounce the coin into a cup. If you missed, you had to drink. Wasn't long before everybody was sloshed, so mission accomplished.

I think Baalok and the Talsoians have rounder heads (I had to look up Brock, btw). The Talosians might be more recognizable, although Baalok seems to have ther perfect cranium for the intended use. This one would work either way. :-)

Yeah, you'd probably get some wicked English off of Brockton :)

Yes, the Deltan woman. I forgot about her. Looks like we have a winner! :-)

I remember seeing a behind-the-scenes clip where they shaved her head. The woman started crying halfway through.

That reminds me: get your headphones ready for another album by Bill Shat. This one is called Shatner Claus. It's a Christmas album with famous rock stars. Here you go:

It sounds like he recently declined a new TV series. HE said at this stage in his life, he doesn't want the commitment with all the time it requires. :-)

So Arnold Horshack had it right all along. :)

Yup. And Juan Epstein had the smelly gym socks in his locker. :-)

Btw, Arnold was my favorite. I remember an episode where he gave the translation for his last name. It means, "The cattle are dying". :-D

Horshack was my favorite too...I remember an episode where he said, "Mrs. Kotter, can I ask you a question?" and she said, "That's 'aks', Arnold" :)

I was disappointed when they cancelled "$h*! My Dad Says", I thought it had a lot of promise. Seems like last year, but it's been seven years...can't say I blame him

Wow, I didn't realize 7 years had passed already. I didn't get to see it, but from what I read, it sounded interesting.

A few months ago, he was working with a CGI company to 'de-age' him so he could be Kirk again. He'll be back if possible, in my opinion. Maybe in Discovery in an alternate timeline and aged.

It would be a shame to miss the opportunity (for the franchise) while he's still alive.

I said the same thing all through The 70's about The Beatles. They should get together one more time before something happens to one of them and then 1980. As a gag Saturday Night Live offered them $3,000 to get back together and it turns out John and Paul were watching the broadcast from The Dakota and were ready to take them up on it, but they were having "a night off" and didn't do it

I'd been hoping for a reunion too. There were always rumors, but time ran out. I knew a guy that said, "He shot the wrong Lennon" (he was referring to a hit on Yoko).

At least we have all the great music they left us. And it's still on the radio every day.

Here's something John and Yoko did together:

Very different, and interesting. :-)
