The Trump FISA warrant, explained:; Think of it this way: You suspect a Teller at a bank of stealing money. You would tell the CEO what you suspect about the Teller; you don't investigate the CEO because you don't have any reason to. You get a warrant, charge and investigate the Teller. BUT IN THIS CASE:; * You don't tell the CEO even though you don't have any reason to suspect them. * You apply for a warrant on the teller but give no evidence on them. You take a file of unsubstantiated heresay about the CEO from very questionable sources and lie to the judge saying it all checks out. * You get the warrant, leak details of the fake file and base an investigation on the CEO, everyone who works at the bank EXCEPT the Teller... and anyone who banks there.
