I'm just being a conspiracy nutter. I've never made the front page. I suspect it has a lot to do with slowly building a group of followers who mindlessly upvote no matter how lame your meme is.

I thought you were alluding to the probability of people creating three and four ALT ACCOUNTS in order to comment and upvote on their memes

There's probably some of that too. The site seems to be more friendly to people who have an established following than to people with genuinely dank memes.

Don't get me wrong, there are some great memes on the front page. But also some not so great...
