This is my favorite part of the song. I remember hearing it in my youth and admiring the use of poetry in the song.

Good thing they didn't use a cowbell instead of a gong. :-p

We saw The Moody Blues last summer on their "Days Of Future Passed" 50 year anniversary tour...they played the entire album for the second half of the show. :)

I didn't know they were still together and touring. I saw *one* of them live. It was their keyboard player, Patrick Moraz playing with Yes many years ago. I think he would fill in occasionally when needed.

He put on a good show, I'll bet he rocked the place when you saw them. :-)

I don't think he was with them...the original members were Justin Hayward, John Lodge and Graeme Edge. Ray Thomas wasn't there and I just found out he passed last January. It was a great show, ut it was early in their tour and they had a little problem with the effects, namely a screen with a guy reading the poetry

You outta see the Star Trek 'bloopers'. These guys were hilarious. I remember one where they had Scotty shoveling coal into the engine. In another, the landing party beamed down to a planet and immediately started using their communicators like electric razors. And of course, people flubbing their lines. It's nice to see them out of character, although dressed in Starfleet uniforms. :-)
