Thanks. He did a number of episodes in The Star Trek franchise, but only "Day Of The Dove" in the original. Btw, The Klingon Empire just called me a racist! :)

Still working on Kang Kong Versus Godzilla...the actor, Michael Ansara, played Kang in the original, Deep Space Nine and Voyager...once again time's up. :)

OK, this one is my favorite of the three. It looks fantastic and generated an actual LOL, as many of your memes have boldly done before. :-)

And I only started watching VOY after they captured a Borg. ;-)

Btw, Michael Ansara was married to Barbara Eden during TOS.

Did you know The Most Interesting Man In The World used to have a relationship with Ginger? Yup, they would do it like rabbits, according to the actor.

His account of the steamy relationship was in an article a couple of years ago. It's out there, somewhere. I just don't remember where I read it. :-)

I actually remembered that the aliens were The Kelvins, but I had to look up the episode which was, " By Any Other Name" :)

Btw, I finally got to see The Captain Sulu episode. The guy that set it up (can't remember his name) was fantastic (he reminded me of Adam from Myth busters on speed). I didn't get to watch it all at once, but it really made me think what if they had made that a series. From the setup I thought there would be more Captain Sulu and less barbarian Sulu, but it worked nicely...thanks a lot! :)

I thought you would get a kick out of it. The guy on speed (Marc Scott Zicree) wrote it, as well as official Trek. He also wrote for DS9.

I think he said this was an episode idea from the Sulu series he pitched.

This one was done well; I wish they'd done more stories by him. :-)

Unfortunately I wasn't able to watch it all at once, but I don't think that hurt too much...it was great! :)

While researching the Voyager episode (Flashback), I learned that Sulu is in it too. This is even more of a cosmic coincidence than our Sulu memes featuring on the same day yesterday.

Nice! I hope Kang uses Klingon breath on that lizard. He'd go running away like a frightened little anole (anolis carolinensis).

I saw the Voyager episode today and it was awesome (after the intro Neelix scene, I'm not a fan of that character).

I don't want to give spoilers but I highly recommend it. In addition to Michael Ansara, Grace Lee Whitney is in it.

OK, so here's a spoiler then. See? I can't help myself. Tuvok is flashing back to when he served as an Ensign under Captain Sulu on the Excelsior.

Oh, and they get a distress call when the Klingon moon Praxis explodes.

Yep, this episode ties right into Star Trek Vi: The Undiscovered Country. And we get to watch events unfold on the Excelsior that are not in the movie.

I didn't want this one to end. It's well done and has a few twists. Which reminds me: I found a free version easily. The video I saw was flipped horizontally 180 degrees (so as not to violate copyright) but it's only noticeable on the credits.

Forgot to mention: I liked the 2014 movie by Gareth Edwards so I recognized the lizard head.

There's a new, upcoming movie also. It's called Godzilla: King of All Monsters and has King Ghidorah, Mothra, and Rodan.

King Ghidorah is the tree headed flying reptile. Rodan is the pterodactyl. Let's hope Mothra has his two attendant babes this time - and they don't splice in Raymond Burr. :-)
