"Former Democrats" leaving their party... Because people are reacting with RIGHTEOUS INDIGNATION and APPROPRIATE disgust to the ongoing fascist putsch - sweeping across our land...

It’s a bit over my head, but the left doesn’t seem to have leadership right now, just reactionaries. They had chances to score points recently and went too far to the extremes. I hope Trump loses in 2020 but the dems aren’t giving me any hope. Trump has to fall and bring some republicans with him (ie the Mueller probe) for dems to have any chance it seems. If the dems bring back Hillary, they might as well give up now. She had her chance and blew it.

$hillary is not really "of the left". She's just a Machiavellian College Republican. She stole the nomination from Sanders (no - really. Aside from the "Super Delegates" - Wasserman Schultz' district was likely stolen from Tim Cannova as well, at the same time). But the DLC/DNC nexus would rather lose to Trump than let Bernie win. And he totally would have. Polls showed that he would beat "All" other candidates - head to head - in a 3 way, Trump probably wins. So if the Democrats had let their progressive base turn out... They win easily... So arguably not left enough.

But there's video on youtube with #walkaway - that is arguing the "Civility" meme, as the reason for "Dem-Exit" - as opposed to people going Green or left if Dem independent. In fact I'm "anti-Collusion Narrative", too. Seth Rich stole those emails - they were NEVER hacked. Which is why the DNC didn't want to turn their servers over... And better diplomacy with Russia is a reasonable exercise of the foreign policy authority of the President... Just like Obama could shit on relations - by overthrowing Ukraine, for instance, Trump can warm them up... Pee tape, or no.

But the "emoluments clause"... Now there's a good case. All the Dems need, is a good kick in the ass, and some more Ocasio-Valdez. If they take congress he's toast. Unless Pelosi refuses to move. Which might actually happen. President Pence seems scarier to me anyway... So I figure we're screwed either way.

I just resubmitted this meme - it got "nuked" in the transition to streams. I think - looking at the present moment - that Biden is the new Clinton. And Harris, Bootyjudge, and Warren are the DNC establishment's last hope to stave off the success of Sanders.

The CNN polls that show Biden as a frontrunner might as well be taken in "assisted living" facilities. They literally exclude anyone under 50. So Bernie looks less popular than Biden - and Gabbard is below the margin of error.

The Wall Street donor-base and Clintonian DNC establishment (and their consultants, media surrogates and such) - are terrified of Sanders, and Gabbard... But Bernie is hard to suppress - because of his momentum and visibility from 2016 - thru to the present. But when they're not ignoring Gabbard they're slandering her - or doctoring the video with a distracting blemish, etc.. MSNBC hates them both. This "Blue no matter who" and "unity" stuff seems to cut only in one direction... Meaning you progressives will just HAVE to ignore how we screw you and your candidates - and 'vote blue - for no matter who - we tell you to'.

It turns out that even Republicans would like a reliable healthcare system - with more than half supporting single-payer. The number goes-up to 70% popularity with the general electorate. It's the insurance industry, the party machines and Wall Street that hate that idea the most. Bernie seems to have won-over the audience at his Fox TownHall.

While "centrism", triangulation and picking-off the ever more elusive "moderate voters" - is a strategy that COULD win for Democrats... As Obama showed - the best chances for a Dem win comes from exciting their base, boosting turn-out, and getting young people and unlikely voters to show-up at the polls on election day. Given those dynamics - I think that what you referred to above as "extremes" offer the best scenario for a victory. A large turn-out and and distinct alternative being offered - could even manage to flip the Senate for them - and they need that - because the notorious RBG won't live forever (God bless her, and give her continued strength and health).
