Your argument is fallacious - Just because Hitler was a mass murdering dictator doesn't mean all his ideas are bad, for example, he thought that one should have pride for their country of origin. I know you celebrated the 4th of July, should you feel bad for affirming a dictator? (And for the record, Communists are only temporary authoritarians, the utopian communist society is enforced socially not by the government, the government functions as a transition to a society that is ultimately communist by default.

First commies are only temporary authoritarians ideally in a commie utopia communism is enforced through social agreement and government only facilitates the first phases of communism, just wanted to correct you. You're supposed to engage with the discussion, this is a thought experiment I set made this "meme" to spark discussion about the fundamental assumptions of the west, how is this relevant.

It is relevant in that it answers the question whether democracy is a bad philosophical principle by comparatively grouping it with all systems of government which are all designed to infringe on the freedom of others. Democracy is no less a freedom killer than is a socialist state, a monarchy, or a dictatorship. The fact remains the livestock are contained, just by different types of fencing material.

I understand your premise. However, I don't agree that an ignorant man has no right to say his peace nor does he deserve to become subject to rule. Furthermore, democracy, and it's republic derivative, are wolves in sheep's clothing.

Ok, I want to make this clear, this is a thought exercise, to engage in philosophy. I think as westerners we just assume that democracy is valuable, let's put it on trial, shall we?

I stand in affirmation of this because as Socrates put it, there are people who are not interested in engaging in politics or are intellectually inferior to others. Engaging in politics, debate, and rhetoric is a skill. Why should any random person have the same voting weight as a philosopher who is literate and wise? They shouldn't, that's the problem, dumb or careless people having access to political power which strays our society from the right path.
