You could freeze the steak for a few months, then re-heat it. Then you'll be begging for that steak sauce!
Have you ever tried steak cooked with an immersion heater? It's a slow cook process and retains ALL the flavor. You just have to seer it in a pan for one minute when done, to darken the outside.
The style is called "sous vide" (French). A must, for steak lovers. ;-)
