Yes, it was done the right way for a team up against a common enemy. My all-time favorite is the 4th of July one with the fireworks fight. And Uncle Peco is a pure classic.

The 4th of July one had Jerry flying in a light bulb box like a bomber dropping bulbs on Tom. Then Jerry bailed out and used a bra as a parachute. That might be what you are thinking of. :)
