Finally have the pool filled, had to fix some holes in the liner, it's not too deteriorated, I don't have $7,000 for a new one, maybe next year...lol.

I tore my pool down last year and still haven't replaced it. The girls like to play in the sand where it used to sit with their ponies, so its not all lost lol

We had a tornado come through the East Atlanta metro area (Lilburn,Ga) so my brother had me fixing Bobcats, trucks, chippers, you name it...my parents are coming back from Annapolis, Md with the niece's, (sister lives up there, they were visiting) so I had to have the pool done or I'd never hear the end of it....got it filled up at 3:00am this morning...lol. I'm worn out!

You get tornadoes and we get ice storms, I think I'll stick to the ice storms thank you lol.

Lol I have a cousin who's been in the military that lives out there plus a few friends that have lived there too...they all say it's expensive....one friend said that she and her husband would get "Island Fever", the island just wasn't big enough and they felt trapped......lol

yeah im on maui, its smaller and im definitely ready to leave here. its a great vacation spot but once you move here it can kill the mood. so now vacations is going to cali to the snow lol

Allstate? Ha! Unless your policy has an endorsement specifying coverage for seismic activity from volcanic eruption and/or flow of lava, you’re screwed. Your only hope is if your house burns down from a fire started by the lava, because fire is a covered peril. And even then that claim is subject to their interpretation. Allstate sucks.

Lol. My father worked for Cigna (Special Benefits Div. (which was sold off after his retirement)). Yea, growing up, my father had a umbrella policy that covered against most anything on the planet......I had to pay for premium car insurance until I moved out after college....I can't tell you how much I saved...lmao!....but insurance was his life for 30+ years....lol. :). I had to use Allstate because of the "Good Hands" bit...but you knew that....

I can understand your disdain of Allstate....I used to chase storms/hurricanes (I owned a tree service) and I believe it was Liberty Mutual or Progressive (or both, I can't remember) were cocksuckers to get paid in a reasonable amount of time....State Farm would cut a check on the spot! I've been through some bad ones; not in SF...frightening.

She told me that the Northridge earthquake literally threw her out of the bed and on to the floor, her husband at the time got chucked into the aquarium they had and went right through it! Amazingly, he only got a few scratches from it...lucky duck!

Lol. Yea, last few weeks I've had little time to sit around, it all started 2 weeks ago with the tornado, I was fixing bobcats, trucks and other things. All the while I was also working at my parents house, I finally got the pool filled and working properly also building granite retaining walls planting grass etc, etc...my body is sore from lifting so much shit..lol...

Have a pitcher on me. ;) We're entering the slow season at the club. Kids are out of school so all the rich people take their families down to the cabin at the resort in central Oregon. Should last until late August. But hey, get the money while you can, man. :)
