Here's a little Tull trivia, since you've been such a good memer...

When Martin Barre, the guitar player for Jethro Tull was recording the guitar solo on Aqualung, Jimmy Page walked in the studio and waved at him. He said it was a tough decision not to wave back and ruin the performance we've heard all thee years. A tough call, but I'm glad he didn't - for the sake of the song.

I hadn't heard that one. Did you know that Martin's middle name is Lancelot? Mine is only Richard. :/

No, I didn't know his nickname (or yours)! But I like it.

You must know that Ian Anderson used to own 11 fish farms and a few processing plants back in the 90's. And a fish smoking facility. He sold it all because he was afraid he might get financially wiped out by a single season of fish disease. He broke even, which was good enough for him.

And Tull opened for Jimi Hendrix in 1969. This helped propel them to their rightful place in rock history.

I've had many nicknames. I've gone by Snake, Zaphod Beeblebrox, Aqualung, and Myrddin Greybeard. They're coming out with a new album called 50 at 50. I should. June 22nd is my 53rd birthday. :)

Douglas Adams finally recorded more seasons of the Hitchhiker's Guide radio show. They are new - and full of Zaphod. The guy that voiced 'The Guide' died, so they did a 'software upgrade' on it and there's a new voice.

Everyone else is in the shows too. I'm sure you'll get a kick out of them all. If I remember correctly, there were (new) Seasons 4 ,5, and 6 before Adams died. But you'll have to verify with the BBC to make sure. They must be on YouTube and elsewhere if you're interested. Go get 'em! :-)

They did recently have a radio show that had the late Stephen Hawking on it. I think that it was on BBC4.
