It was a grand Highland kilt, all one piece. The skirt is wrapped and pinned, then the rest goes over the shoulder. Clan name is Keith, on my mother's side. I have an ancestor, Sir Robert of Keith who fought with William Wallace at Stirling, and was Cavalry Commander at Bannockburn and knighted by Robert The Bruce. He was also very instrumental in helping The Bruce get his crown.
