Nortic not Socialist at all. They are free market Capitalist. They are a Social Democracy. They are not a Democratic Socialist. Having a Social program is different from being a Socialist Country. Check Wiki or google.

That's like saying the US is part Socialist because the Post Office is run by the Gov or social programs like welfare or medicare. Social programs and legitimate functions of Gov is not the same as being a Socialist Country. Not by a long shot. Socialism is the transition stage from Capitalism to Communism. In that process the means of production is being transferred (more like confiscated) from private ownership to the state or a collective. Or the means of production is already largely controlled by the state or a collective. Sweden is a Capitalist Country of the highest order. The Nordic model is Capitalist high tax social program state. AKA social democracy. That's way different from Democratic Socialism that's a different animal altogether. If you like the Nortic model than your a liberal or moderate democrat. Bernie Sanders is just not telling the truth he is a radical and a Marxist.
I simply believe that increasing the minimum wage, universal healthcare, and getting rid of tax breaks on the rich would be very beneficial and create a better economy for the United States.
And how do you recommend solving that problem? I don't like corrupt or unjust wars, either, but I don't know disestablishing capitalism would make things any better.
As mko51ss already said, the rich are already taxed more. In my opinion, all that is doing is putting more money into the hands of corrupt politicians who are just using it to gain some PR and keep their incumbency advantage.

If you google Socialism its comes up right there first thing "Founder Karl Marx" All Socialism is rooted in Marxism lock stock and barrel. In Marxist theory Socialism is the interim stage between a transition from Capitalism to Communism. The goal of Socialism is Communism. A Social program is not Socialism. Under Socialism private ownership of business is not allowed. Every Socialist Country is also totalitarian and oppressive. Look up this stuff at the Wikipedia level.
