They've got to fill those cells somehow. You know they get paid by the body in 'for profit' prison systems.

Hmmm. I wonder why there are more Americans in jail than any other country on Earth. Probably just a coincidence.

This is also why the Corrections lobby groups want to keep harmless drugs illegal. It gives them 'soft' targets to line their budgets with. Imagine if they had to go out and fight actual crime!
