but it was also considered absurd for the earth to be round or for the earth to rotate the sun, but in time those were all updated and we found many new discoveries, so saying that just because one cannot comprehend doesn't not mean that it is impossible.

The fact that it's absurd isn't the most important thing; and ridicule should be kept to a minimum if it's used at all. However it's also logically flawed since it would make the universe a finite size at any given time and it doesn't explain what's beyond the limits among other questions. And Halton Arp among other more rational scientists have also exposed flaws but the media refuses to let the public know about his for one reason or another.
