I wonder if they count views from people who don't have an account? Because surely not THAT many people are just not voting? Even on the memes at the very top of the fromt page have a disproportionate amount af views to upvotes.

Makes sense... yeah, some have 15,000 views, and there aren’t that many members on here that I’m aware of. I just always feel dumb when my meme gets 100 views and no upvotes. I think I’m the only one that finds it amusing, which is fine. I usually delete the duds to save space in the crowded meme world. Lately, I just let them sit and grow mold, lol :-)

I think a lot of people must be doing that. I have slowly accumulated a list of people who I visit daily to check their new stuff. I don't know how many people you interact with regularly but I think that can also come into play. Friends visit each other's pages. When I first because active in comments here I didn't get any views or votes , but I noticed as I became more social my vies and up votes also increased.

The points in here seem to be based on social activity more than the memes. Weird really.

Almost ALL of my points came from comments. I really have fun with those. Dashhopes breaks my stones if I don’t submit stuff. He’ll comment on one of my memes, “one week” to tell me I’ve been slackin’ lol!

I really should try harder to visit more people, it’s all I can do sometimes just reading the Latest.

It can be actual work if you are busy. I have the most fun in comments, and sometimes I get so wrapped up commenting that I forget about making memes. The comments can be hard to keep up with when you are responding in a meaningful way. Memes can also feel like work if you want to do something custom that requires a couple of hours time.
