Media rigs elections by only covering corrupt candidates

Does the media cover any candidates that don't sell out to Wall Street, or have skeletons in their closet that can be used for blackmail? Does the sun rise in the West? Even Americans couldn't be stupid enough to elect these clowns, if they were familiar with more rational candidates
