What time did you submit it, and what time did it hit the streets?

It looks like it was across the board for most everyone. I think mostly the custom memes.

I submitted around 1:30am my time, and it featured around 6:00pm.

Wow, do you always submit that early - or do you have a schedule for releasing them?

I submitted mine at 5:00 AM and it featured around 8:00 PM.

If I happen to be up that late, then I'll go ahead and submit. I usually wait until later though.

Almost forgot to mention... well, OK I forgot. I used a template from the imgflip collection.

Does it matter if it was originally someone else's upload? I thought they get approved, then everyone can use them and there wouldn't be a manual check.

But I started in February, and still don't know nuthin'.

Good thing there's no FAQ page - to eliminate confusion. ;-p

If you find the template already posted out there, then you should be good to go. I don't know how different they look when they're "approved" because I don't play with too many of those templates. A lot of mine are one-time custom things.

I didn't know the 'bee incident' actually happened - I thought it was just a great meme. Honestly, I hope you didn't get stung.

Hate to mention it, but if someone allows you to drink a soda after seeing a bee go in it, they might not actually be a friend. Time will tell. ;-)

But back to silliness: sorry about the umm... bird joke (it was a swallow). Kinda tame for this venue... and it might make a nice meme in itself, for someone creative who doesn't mind the NSFW flag. I save the flag for really good stuff, since it limits who can see it.

Usually I look for a different way of saying the same thing - like today. I used the word 'this' instead of the 'S' word. I'd post a link, but I don't want to spam your meme.

And you can send me a link to your stuff, I don't mind. I only consider it spam when someone posts a link and doesn't say anything else, and it's not related to what we're talking about. If you say, "hey can you take a look at this link?", then I'm more than happy to look at it. :-) Sometimes I get so busy that I don't get to go out and see enough of them, so again I don't mind.

I feel the same way about links on pages. If they enhance the discussion or add laughs, then they're GOOD links. When I started out, I used to drop them uninvited and was told the proper protocol so now I try to be respectful.

Like you, I can never find enough time to just cruise the site and see everything. Links are one way to see more memes!
