Agreed,.. sometimes I have to look them up, too. So it takes even longer to read the dang thangs.

That was one thing I always despised about social media. Back when I was on Farce Book this was a very common problem. People who always seemed so intelligent and articulate came off like freaking cave men in the comments. It blows my mind!

Even in cellphone texts. I'm not sure if they're actually correct - or trying to seem like it. Remember... we ARE old fogies. But yes, it drives me crazy too!

Cell phones are THE WORST! Auto correct will screw at every opportunity!

They are! I make mistakes that I do not catch until AFTER I post a comment. I think I tend to type faster than I should so I don't lose my thought before I get it down!

HA! I have repainted the letters several times! I use a paint marker and allow it to dry, then go over it with clear nail polish. I get laughed at. And that missing control button there? It got sucked up into the vacuum cleaner. I recovered it but can't get it to go back on!

This lap top is about 6 years old. I will drive this thang till the "wheels fall off".
That being said, I pretty much have the letter positions memorized and can type without looking most of the time. Though I do have my moments. LOL!

You can get a clear (or black) cover on Amazon (with the letters) for a few bucks! Same for keyboard letter stickers. I got a set to put on a Rubik's Cube.

And NO, I never started the project. ;-p

But nope... I must have missed the similarity in names. With the single exception of coffee. I thought she seemed confused once... when she asked if I was a guy or a girl. I have a bad memory though... maybe I'm remembering it wrong?

So let's take a look at our imgflip user names. They each have three syllables, starting with a lower case 'n'. But I don't see repeating vowels or consonants... the last syllable does rhyme, though... "bot" and "knox".

Other than that, I think others (like me) might only confuse the names if they were too far away from the screen to tell the difference.

Even with glasses, I have to zoom in to differentiate the names of people when I use this website. I'm sure most people see just fine, but I don't...so I understand if there is some confusion.

Have I missed any similarities between "nottabot" and "nixieknox"? I hope so - I'm usually the last to know when I'm wrong... ;-p
